PHOTO STORY: Ramadan bazaar in TTDI, Kuala Lumpur

A total of 72 Ramadan bazaars involving 5, 000 stalls have been serving food during the fasting month of Ramadan in Kuala Lumpur area. Hugely popular and crowded Ramadan bazaars came back after a long break caused by COVID-19. In 2020, bazaars were not allowed to operate. Last year, they had a very short life when another restrictions were imposed midway through Ramadan. Thankfully, the vibrant a lively bazaars are back and I had a chance to visit one of them, which is located in TTDI area. As you will see from the photos, there was everything, from the freshly squeezed juices through the grilled chicken, fish and lamb to the mouthwatering desserts and big queues to catch all it's needed for the Iftar dinner after sunset. I hope that this documentation will provide you a closer look to this part of muslim religion and Malaysian culture and will make you hungry. At least a bit! :)
